The Dzongri trek package lies at an elevation of about 4020 meters in Sikkim. The trekking itinerary of Dzongri

Day 1: Yukoam - Tsokha

The Dzongri trek package trail from Yuksom starts at the local market and follows the most road towards the north. The trail climbs gently out of the valley and hugs the proper bank of the Ratong Chu River, which may be heard thundering through the gorge below. The trail crosses over four bridges to climb steeply towards north-west to the tiny settlement of Bakhim. Continue for an additional 3 km through a forest of magnolia and rhododendron to succeed in Tshokh.

Day 2: Tsokha - Dzongri

On today the trail crosses over the village of Tshokh and continues to climb north through the woods of rhododendron to the alp of Phidang taking around 3 hrs to finish the grade. Continue further towards Dzongri. On arrival set campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: day of rest & Acclimatise at Dzongri

The day is for rest and acclimatization. On today one can savour views of the mountain peaks by climbing up to Dzongri Top. From here you get a bird's eye view of Kabru, Ratong, Kanchenjunga, Koktang, Pandim and Narsing. Towards the west, the Singalila Ridge, which separates Sikkim from Nepal, are often seen.

Day 4: Set to return back
