DAY 1: Arrival to Srinagar International airport

Meet our representative and transfer to house boat, take some rest, afternoon visit Mughal Gardens and Shankar Acharya Temple, Overnight at houseboat.

DAY 2: Explore Srinagar

Early morning visit floating market in Dal-Lake and back to house boat for breakfast, after breakfast drive to Old town visit some Famous Jamia Masjid “The Jamia Masjid of Srinagar is situated at Nowhatta in the middle of the Old City. It was built by sultan Sikandar Shah Kashmiri Shahmiri in 1394 AD. After visit Hazrat- BAL the famous shrine IN Kashmir Valley this Shrine is a Muslim shrine It contains a relic, the Moi-e-Muqqadas, believed by many Muslims of Kashmir to be a hair of Prophet Muhammad “Peace be upon him”. The name of the shrine comes from the Urdu word Hazrat, meaning "respected", and the Kashmiri word bal, meaning "place". and after explore OLD street of Srinagar. Overnight at houseboat.

DAY 3: Srinagar to Kargil via Zojila Pass

Early breakfast drive to Kargil via Zojila Pass and it takes about 6 hours and en-route you will will some habitants and some nice tourist spots like Sonamarg, Drass, arrive in the afternoon at Kargil, check in to hotel Zojila Residency and after if you like visit the Kargil Market. Kargil is a city in the Kargil district of Ladakh region, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the second largest town in Ladakh after Leh. It is located 60 km from Drass and 204 km from Srinagar to the west respectively and 234 km from. Overnight Hotel

DAY 4: Kargil – Rangdum

Early morning breakfast drive to Rangdum “Rangdum is in a valley situated 3,657 m (11,998 ft) above the sea level, in an isolated region of the Suru valley in the Ladakh region in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in Northern India. On one side are the colorful hills while on the other side are Rocky Mountains and glaciers. Visit Rangdum Village and Monastery this Monastery is a Tibetan 30 D.B. DAY 5: Ragdum to Padum

Leave after breakfast get driven to Padum. Reach there and check into your accommodation. Relax and explore the nearby places. Overnight Stay at Hotel or Guest house.

DAY 6: Explore Pandum

Full day at Padum, explore Sani , Karsha and Zangla Village and Monastery, Overnight stay at Padum Hotel / Guest House.

DAY 7: Padum to Phuktal monastery

Drive to till the ends and futher walk about 4/6hours to reach Phuktal Monastery, Overnight at Guest house in Phuktal.

DAY 8: Explore Phutkal

Explore Phuktal Monastery and village Phugtal Gompa is a Buddhist monastery located in the remote Lungnak Valley in south-eastern Zanskar, in the autonomous Himalayan region of Ladakh, in Northern India. It is one of the only Buddhist monasteries in Ladakh that can still be reached only by foot. Overnight Guest house at Phuktal .

DAY 9: Phutkal to Padum

Phuktal – Pandum via same route, Overnight at Padum

DAY 10: Padum to Kargil

Drive about 8/9 hours, road condition is bit tough, Overnight Hotel at Kargil.

DAY 11: Kargil to Leh via Mulbek

Lamayurum cover about 234km and it will takes 6hours, Overnight Hotel Dragon.

DAY 12: Free day at Leh

Full day at Leh jus relax or visit some monastery nearby, Overnight Hotel Dragon

DAY 13: Sindhu Ghat – Shey – Thiksey – Hemis – Leh

Start the day with a delicious breakfast of traditional delicacies and continental offerings. Then set out on a comfortable 3 – 4 hour drive through the amazing Ladakhi landscape to some of the most popular tourist destinations in the region: Sindhu Ghat, Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. DAY 14: Leh – Nubra – Khardung La – Treaty Road

In the world’s coldest desert, make an early start to the valley of flowers, Nubra, crossing one of the world’s highest motorable roads, Khardung La at 18,380 ft. Enjoy the beautiful 5 – 6 hour drive, and as you descend, behold the beautiful valley in all its hues. See Treaty Road, the famous ancient caravan trade route to Central Asia, and Kashgar and Yarkand in China.

DAY 15: Nubra to Leh

After breakfast, drive back towards Leh but only after making a memorable stop at the Samstanling Monastery in Sumor. Return to The Grand Dragon Ladakh for a night of leisure and luxury. Fast Fact: Located in the Sumlur village of the Nubra valley, the Samstanling Monastery was founded in 1841 by Lama Tsultim Nima. Home to more than 50 monks, it is surrounded by hues of gold, red ochre and white, amid the beauty of the surrounding valley.

DAY 16: Leh / Chumathang / Tsomoriri

After breakfast drive 220 Km from Leh towards Tsomoriri at changthang region of Ladakh enroute visit, in chumathang have a hot lunch. Futher drive nd reach Mahe bridge we have to show the permit at the police check point and drive to Tsomoriri cross the Tibetan refugee settlement at Sumdho further drive to Tsomori arrive Late afternoon. Tomoriri Lake : The Tsomoriri Lake is a beautiful mountain bounded expanse of water, around 220 Kms. from Leh in Rupsho Valley. The Lake is located at 14,000 ft. near a small village of Korzok. One can also visit the Korzok Monastery of 19th century that houses Shakyamuni Buddha and other statues. The Nomadic people are most outstanding feature of this Lake area, which graze herd of goats and yaks. About 76 kms from Tsomoriri is located another beautiful Lake, Tsokar (the saltake)in this area. Overnight camp.

DAY 17: Tsomoriri / Puga /Tsokar / Tanglangla / Leh

Drive to Mahe village and the road turns left from here towards Puga Valley. The village is an unforgettable scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. This is Butan gas which Puga valley is famous. Continue drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass (13500 ft.) and visit Tsokar (small Lake ) and one can visit Thugke gompa. The place is famous for wild asses are generally seen here grazing and they seem moving in flocks. From here short drive and reach on National Highway route (Leh - Manali). Continue drive towards to Leh via Tanglangla pass (5350 Mtrs.) which is the second highest motorable pass in the world. Arrive in Leh afternoon. Overnight Hotel.

DAY 18: Rest Day

DAY 19: Return from Leh to Delhi

Early breakfast, Transfer to the airport for Flight to Delhi and connect onward Flight with sweet memory of Kashmir – Ladakh Tour.

Booking

Your contract is with Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour / hotel booking / or any other travel related services of your choice and we have received your booking request and deposits. All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels.

Payments

For the services contracted, 40 % advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.

Payment Options

Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our office or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.

Rights to amend the itinerary if required

Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalised. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.

Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 30 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
  • 20 days to 18 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
  • 14 days to 16 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
  • 10 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
  • 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.

Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.

Refund

In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Where as in case of Cancellation before the commencement, it will take atleast two weeks time to refund the said amount.

Our Liabilities & Limitations

Please note that after the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Govt. of India, the same would be charged as extra.

Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and checkout time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

Passports & Visas

To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.

Health

Any person who has a contagious disease is forbidden to travel, any person found during the tour with such a disease will be asked to leave the tour and will have to make their own arrangements to return home.
