Dharamsura (6446 Mt), which is also called WHITE SAIL because of its shape,is situated in Himachal Pradesh. The trek route to this start from Tosh village near Manikaran through two camp night halts till base camp. Generally one can find ponies and porters for this trek till BC. Dharamsura Peak is close to Papsura Peak and these two peaks are divided by a ridge of about two kilometers where the Tosh glacier is left on south and the Bara Shigri glacier in the north. Both of these mountains are not very popular among climbers simply because the peaks in this section of Indian Himalaya are rarely promoted. It is believed that the ridge between these two peaks is yet unclimbed.

DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI

Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi, You will meet our representative and warm welcome with traditional manner and garlands, followed by transfer to hotel for check-in and overnight stay. 

Meal: NON.

DAY 2: DELHI (IMF VISIT) - CHANDIGARH (321M) - 250 KM 4,5 HRS

Morning after breakfast proceed to INDIAN MOUNTAINEERING FOUNDATION (IMF) for briefing with the Director of  IMF, Liaison Officer, and complete some paperwork. You can also visit the museum and  library of IMF to get more information about Indian Himalayas and your expedition, afternoon free for leisure. Afternoon drive to Chandigarh, overnight stay at Chandigarh hotel.

DAY 3: CHANDIGARH – KASOL (1600 M) - BY: DRIVE 280KM/6 HRS

Morning after breakfast drive to Kullu Himachal Pradesh, In route stop for lunch at (Mandi), Today we enter to the Himachal Pradesh that is known as the land of God, Mountains in all around, where you encounter a different culture and landscape. Evening reach at Kasol, overnight stay at kasol hotel.

Kasol: Kasol is a tiny mystical village that is nestled on Parvati Valley and comes under the Kullu district, This place is also called MINI ISRAEL OF INDIA due to a high percentage of Israeli tourists here.

Meal:- Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

DAY 4: ACCLAMATION DAY AT KASOL

Today you also meet with our expedition team (Sherpa, Local guides, Kitchen staff), Shikhar guide will give the instruction about next days plan, after the briefing handover your climbing equipment, other stuff to our management staff, so they can pack accordingly. (You will get all this stuff in our next camping site)

DAY 5: KASOL – TOSH – KUTLA (2825M) - BY: DIRVE 2 KM/1HRS, 3 HRS TREK

Early morning after breakfast drive to tosh village that is only 20 km from kasol, Reach tosh, our staff already move forward to the camping site. So the can set up the camps for us.  Tosh is a small village, trek from tosh to kulta go through pine trees and waterfalls. You will get the amazing view of the valley, snow-covered mountains. Afternoon reach the camping site,  you can go for the photography near the area,  our camping site is fully covered with Cedar and Maple trees. Overnight in Shikhar Trekking Tents.

DAY 6: KULTA - SARAN THATCH (3450 M) - TREK- 12 KMS/ 5,6 HRS

Morning after breakfast we start our trek to  saran, it is around 12 km from Kulta, it will take 6 hrs to reach our next camping site, Today we provide you pack lunch that you can take in route during rest,  The route full with the amazing landscape, flowers. Evening reach at Saran Thatch, overnight in tents.

DAY 7: SARAN TO SAMSI THACH (3760 M) - TREK- 12 KMS/ 5,6 HRS

Morning after breakfast start your trek to Samsi, today we trek along with the Tosh River, we take our pack lunch in route, There is also chance to  see the sheep during the today treks, Samsi Thach is known of the the medicinal plants. overnight in tents. There are no tree lines at 3760 M in the Himalayas so we can see the open view of Himalayas, and many other peaks of the valley, our local guide helps you to describe the views and also tell about the flora n fauna of the valley.

DAY 8: SAMSI THACH TO KUTA THACH /BASE CAMP (4230 M) - TREK 07 KMS/4,5HRS

This is the last day of trekking, today we reach the basecamp of Dharamsura and Papsura, we cross the Tosh Glacier to reach at BC, Our Porters team will go early in the morning to drop our luggage in the basecamp so they can come back soon, today they will leave us at the BC. Afternoon reaches at Basecamp.

DAY 9 - 22: BS - SUMMIT MT. DHARAMSURA(6446M) – BC

Next 14 days are for summit the mount Dharamsura and descend back the Base camp, Shikhar Climbing sherpa will help you to open the route and make necessary arrangements for you after the basecamp, You are also connected with the basecamp and our Backup team by satellite phone and walkie talkie, We update you about the weather condition on time to time accordingly The summit team will take the decision, from the summit you will get the panoramic view of Kullu and Spiti valley.

DAY 23: FULL DAY REST AT BASE CAMP

Full day for rest in the base camp, you can pack your bags and all the stuff and makes ready your self for next day trek, evening our Porters also reach at Basecamp.

DAY 24: BASE CAMP - TOSH

Early morning trek to tosh valley, this is the full-day trek. Due to the heavy loads, a long trek porters will take time to reach tosh, so we stay today at Thos village in a local Guesthouse. Overnight at tosh

DAY 25: TOSH – CHANDIGARH

After relaxed morning drive to Chandigarh. Upon arrival check-in the hotel for the overnight stay.

DAY 26: CHANDIGARH – DELHI

Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi,  in route visit IMF office for  De-briefing.  overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 27: DEPART DELHI

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel, our airport RAP will drop you at Indira Gandhi Airport to Depart for onward destination. It was lovely to have you in India, See you soon.

Remember, your insurance is not worth the paper it's written on if we don't know the details and you need their assistance.

Terms & Conditions


Booking

Your contract is with Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour / hotel booking / or any other travel related services of your choice and we have received your booking request and deposits. All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels.

Payments

For the services contracted, 40 % advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.

Payment Options

Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our office or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.

Rights to amend the itinerary if required

Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalised. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.

Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 30 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
  • 20 days to 18 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
  • 14 days to 16 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
  • 10 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
  • 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.

Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.

Refund

In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Where as in case of Cancellation before the commencement, it will take atleast two weeks time to refund the said amount.

Our Liabilities & Limitations

Please note that after the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Govt. of India, the same would be charged as extra.

Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and checkout time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

Passports & Visas

To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.

Health

Any person who has a contagious disease is forbidden to travel, any person found during the tour with such a disease will be asked to leave the tour and will have to make their own arrangements to return home.
